Under the Trump Administration, the last few years have brought significant change to taxes in our country and state. Diana Jacks

Diana joined Boulay in 2013 and was promoted to manager in 2016. She provides tax compliance and consulting services to clients operating across a variety of industries with a focus on real estate, manufacturing and construction, and private equity. Diana manages a team of tax professionals to ensure engagement deadlines are met and completed with quality and in an efficient manner. She advises clients on partnership tax issues and allocation methodologies and has advanced software skills in the areas of Excel, Adobe, Pro-System, Go System, BNA Fixed Asset, and QuickBooks. Prior to joining Boulay, Diana was a member of the Financial Services tax team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focused on providing compliance services for the firm’s private equity and venture capital clients. She also has prior experience in the banking and wholesale construction materials industries. Diana has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She is also a member of NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association) and the Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women.

Kevin Ellis

Kevin joined Boulay in 2004, became a partner in 2017, and is focused on providing sound tax advice and consulting for wholly-owned businesses and their owners. Kevin assists businesses and individuals in tax planning strategies designed to minimize their income tax liability, and he leads special projects requiring investigative and analytical skills with the purpose of determining the best financial and tax outcomes for clients. Kevin specializes in Federal and multi-state tax compliance for C and S corporations, and he has experience in Federal and multi-state tax compliance for ESOP entities, as well as in Federal and state tax compliance for individuals, partnerships and limited liability companies. Kevin also has knowledge and experience in international tax issues, including U.S. compliance and various research initiatives, and he researches complex tax issues and presents strategies to clients. Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He also completed a three-year Emerging Leaders Academy program.
