Mike Schechter is the Director of Labor Relations and General Counsel for AGC of Minnesota. He has over thirty years’ professional experience as a recovering attorney, including serving as the COO and General Counsel for a publishing and learning company, teaching at St. Cloud State University, negotiating international distribution and licensing contracts, and mediating disputes.

In his role with AGC, Mike facilitates negotiations with construction trade unions, mediates and manages disputes including arbitration, manages AGC’s “gold standard” form construction contracts, and helps define industry solutions through working with the Legislature, owners, and contractors. Mike is listed as a power thirty attorney in construction & real estate law by Finance & Commerce.
