The AWC Women’s retreat is a weekend of relationship building like no other. This has been described as the most intimate form of networking AWC puts on. Each attendee will have their own room in one of the beautiful shared Roy Lake Town Homes at Grand View Lodge in Brainerd MN. Enjoy a weekend away with an educational component, team building exercises, fun games and more!

Saturday morning’s educational workshop:

Managing Emotions Under Pressure
Presenter: Dr. Deb Lindh, Mindful Effect

The focus of this session involves helping members manage emotions under pressure; moving from awareness of reaction to reframing the reaction into a response and understanding the meaning and value of both the reaction and response. We will also explore the impact and desired outcome through individual, small group, and whole group case study exercises. At the end of the workshop the goal is that members will understand their current patterns, identify impuse reactions, learn how to reframe reactions into responses, form a foundation for new response habits, apply these practices after the retreat, and develop new emotional response habits.

Registration fee of $425 includes food, lodging, and education.

This event is for AWC (female) members only.
