Construction Contracts: What Contractors Need to Know in 2022

Join us in the AWC training room on Wednesday, January 26 from 11:30-1:00 PM for a presentation by Janine Loetscher of Bassford Remele PA on Construction Contracts. The presentation will focus on what contractors need to know about the construction contracts they enter into: indemnification/defense obligations, insurance requirements, force majure provisions, specification conflicts, and change order disputes.

Janine Loetscher is a shareholder with Bassford Remele. Janine is a litigator with substantial large-scale loss experience, whose practice focuses in construction, insurance coverage, products liability, and personal injury matters. Janine defends contractors and individuals in construction defect lawsuits, and represents both insurers and policyholders on numerous coverage issues. She has significant experience in the products liability arena, particularly defending clients against fire, explosion, and catastrophic loss claims. Janine has represented clients in numerous trials, obtaining defense and favorable verdicts, and she has frequently obtained favorable results on dispositive motions. Janine serves as co-chair of Bassford Remele’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group and its Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Team.
